Oh man! Oh man! Home
Resources I used:
"how to make a neocities from scratch | explain-y tutorial ting" by CINNIMANI
"HTML/CSS For Beginners" by Marighoul
"W3schools Tutorials & Courses"
And a ton of googling.
The experience portion:
Making a website seems intimidating for most people, Alot of HTML CSS JAVASCRIPT stuff you'd need to learn, But actually. Its honestly pretty easy.
Well its easier if you have some programming knowledge (which i have) but even then, making a site is still pretty easy blind. Homer Simpson did it, why can't you?
Though, My experience with actual typey-codey-like-stuffs I use alot of RPGMaker and Turbowarp. So i felt a tad nervous as, let me let you in on a little secret... This is my third attempt at a website, Though those times i didnt trust myself enough so i used a thing that was more like drag and drop website making (No, Not AI)
Planning on what you want for your website design is important. Thats why i didnt do it! I messed around with CSS and ended up with this kinda EarthBound/MOTHER-like design which i like.
The process of making a website, as in, the programming setup part is something i actually find quite nice, its pretty peaceful and relaxed with a video playing in the corner with picture in picture.
The hardest part in making a website, for me is figuring out just what to put on the site in terms of text. Sometimes i really just do not know what i want to put on the site. Probably because im really indecisive... SAURRRIEEEE!!!
The reason why i wanted to make a website is because it would be a good hubplace for things like my projects or my drawings, and not forced to be in an algorithm thatd be shown to like 5 people, im Niche!
I hope to keep up with the site and make updates regularly, Maybe even whole entire website refreshes but I Dont Like Getting Ahead Of Myself.
I have been thinking about things like bandwith and file sizes, i have some plans for this site that might be too much for neocities, In that case, i might move the site to Nekoweb, a web hosting site like neocities with less file limits and stuff like that. (and cuter theming(cats are cute you know))
